Joe Stocking - Head of Music

Joe is our bearded multi-instrumentalist leader.  He has worked in every facet of music including performance, composition, studio environments and live sound. He brings a vast amount of experience and enthusiasm to the design and delivery of music courses, ensuring that every student is given the best possible start in the music industry. 

Josh Jenkins - Course Director for Popular Music

Josh is a full-time high octane legend. His varied performance experiences combined with a background in musical theatre has led to this pivotal moment in his career (writing a bio in for himself in the third person). His songwriting skills are something to behold (if you like high energy shouty stuff). Due to his "jack of all trades and master of all" approach Josh's skills have expanded beyond the realms of music, amalgamating photoshop, video editing, and animation. 

Nigel Hooper - Course Director for L4 Creative Enterprise

Nigel has considerable experience both as a graphic designer and musician. Having worked in Dubai, touring the circuit and working with bands such as Kasabian he understands what makes a high quality performance and the complexities of working in this industry. Nigel is also the Senior External Moderator for music at UAL so has a wealth of knowledge concerning curriculum design and management. 

oli bell - lecturer

As a recording artist, producer, sound designer, beat maker and journalist Oli has worked professionally within the electronic music industry for over 20 years. Locked away within his Aladdin’s cave of strange machines he continues to create monthly musical content and sound design for software companies, magazines, games, apps and sample libraries worldwide. He also drinks a lot of tea.

Andy Guy - Lecturer

Andy is our friend from across the pond. He is an awesome performer, producer, live sound engineer, pyrotechnician and lighting designer. With considerable experience in all areas of the music industry, he uses his knowledge and drive to ensure students obtain first hand, relevant and challenging skills to be used within their careers. 


Harry Dale - Lecturer

Harry might be the youngest member of the power rangers but he has lot so of experience with the megazord. With a background in live performance and having toured up and down the country, Harry shows his skills through his knowledge in performing, artist management and marketing through the power of social media.

Jason Rampling - Technician


Jason aka 'Guns' is approachable, laid back but a professional in everything he does. When he isn't a technician, he is a musician himself, from performing in a covers band around East Anglia, to being a session musician for local talents, to running his own promotions company., Jason has experience in studio recording and composition and is always on hand to help out.
